App Privacy Policy

Short version: X-Ray collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting, no third-party code, no servers. The app runs entirely on your device.

This policy explains how the X-Ray application ("X-Ray", "the app"), published by Beamline Tech LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. It applies to the X-Ray app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Data we collect

None.

X-Ray does not collect, store off your device, transmit, or share any personal data or usage data. Specifically, the app contains:

No user accounts or sign-in.
No analytics or usage tracking.
No crash or diagnostic reporting.
No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
No third-party software development kits (SDKs) or trackers.
No network requests for app functionality — X-Ray works fully offline.

Information stored on your device

Any settings or saved items you create in X-Ray (for example, preferences or favorites, if offered) are stored locally on your device and within your own Apple ecosystem if you use device backup or iCloud. We never receive this information. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device.

Purchases

X-Ray is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment card details, or contact information from a purchase. Apple's handling of transactions is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Support emails

If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to send (such as your email address and the contents of your message) and retain it only as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a basic support history. We do not use support emails for marketing and do not share them, except as required by law.

Children

X-Ray is a professional and educational scientific reference tool. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your privacy choices

Because X-Ray collects no data, there is nothing for you to access, correct, download, or delete from us, and there is no tracking to turn off. If you have emailed us for support and would like the related correspondence deleted, contact support@beamline.tech and we will remove it. Uninstalling the app removes all of its local data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles information — for example, if a future version introduces an optional online feature — we will update this policy and its effective date before that change takes effect, and we will keep the App Store privacy information accurate.
