X-Ray Terms of Use

Effective date: June 15, 2026

These Terms govern your use of X-Ray, a software application published by Beamline Tech LLC ("Beamline Tech", "we", "us"). X-Ray is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA both apply, these Terms add to it.

License

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, Beamline Tech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use X-Ray for your personal, educational, and internal professional purposes. X-Ray is licensed, not sold, to you.

Scientific reference only — important

X-Ray is provided as a scientific reference and workflow aid. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical imaging, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not measure radiation, dose, or any physical quantity using your device's sensors or hardware. Values and calculations are provided for reference and convenience only.

You are responsible for independently verifying any result before relying on it. Always confirm critical values against authoritative references, facility procedures, and validated instrument software. Do not use X-Ray as the sole basis for any safety, dosimetry, clinical, or operational decision.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of X-Ray except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law, and not to use the app in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Purchases

X-Ray is a one-time purchase made through the App Store. All payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under the terms of your Apple Account. Beamline Tech does not process payments directly.

Intellectual property

X-Ray, its design, its underlying software, and the Beamline Tech and X-Ray names and marks are owned by Beamline Tech LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights in those marks.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, X-Ray is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app or any value it produces is free of error.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beamline Tech LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use X-Ray, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Your continued use of X-Ray after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where superseded by mandatory local consumer-protection law or by the Apple Standard EULA.
